CoreBox Box Fit

Our Box Fit class is a dynamic, full-body workout that blends high-energy boxing combinations with functional strength and core training. Set in a motivating group environment, each session revolves around floor-standing punch bag stations where you’ll unleash powerful punch combos designed to improve endurance, coordination, and cardio fitness.

Between bag rounds, we focus on building strength and core stability through bodyweight exercises, resistance training, and circuit-style intervals. The energy stays high from start to finish leaving you both energized and grounded.
 

Mental Health & Stress Relief

Punching the bag is a proven way to release stress and tension. Combined with high-energy movement and focused breathwork, Box Fit helps clear the mind, boost mood, and reduce anxiety-leaving you feeling mentally refreshed and empowered. 

Improve Cardiovascular Health

Boxing drills raise your heart rate and improve endurance, helping to strengthen your heart and lungs while buring calories efficiently.

Increased Strength & Muscle Tone

Punching against resistance and incorporating strength circuits helps tone arms, shoulders, legs, and core-leading to full-body strength development.

What to expect in a Box Fit Class

  • Punch Bag Stations – We provide professional floor-standing punch bags to unleash high-intensity boxing combos. No experience needed—just bring your energy.
  • Strength & Core Training – In between rounds on the bag, you’ll move through targeted strength and core exercises using bodyweight,  light or heavy weights.
  • High-Energy Atmosphere – Music, movement, and motivation fuel the session. Expect to sweat, smile, and leave it all on the floor.
  • Mindfulness & Recovery – We end each class with  light stretching—to calm the nervous system and boost overall wellbeing and recovery.
  • All Levels Welcome – Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, you can go at your own pace with guidance from our instructor.

Boxing combinations require rhythm, timing, and movement control, all of which sharpen motor skills and improve body awareness. 

Effective Stress Relief

Hitting a punch bag releases built-up tension, while physical exertion triggers the release of endorphins-natural mood boosters that help combat anxiety and depression.

Box Fitness gives young footballers, rugby players, and all young sportspeople the edge by improving strength, speed, coordination, and stamina. As well as developing all-round athletic ability, CoreBox Fitness also helps with mental health and confidence. For example, CoreBox Fitness is excellent for young rugby players because they build the key attributes needed on the pitch - Power, speed, endurance, and mental toughness. Punching stations improve upper body strength, hand speed and coordination, which are vital for tackling, passing, and fending off opponents. At the same time, the fast paced circuit format keeps players moving, boosting their cardiovascular fitness and replicating the high-intensity bursts required in a game. CoreBox Fitness also helps young athletes develop discipline and confidence both on and off the pitch.
